From a stockbroking firm in 1995 to The Momentum House in 2026, SAMCO has continuously evolved, guided by one unwavering belief: technology-led, system-first financial services.

1995

Samruddhi Finstock

The journey begins with the establishment of Samruddhi Finstock, laying the foundation for the Group's presence in India's capital markets.

2004

Samruddhi Stock Brokers

Samruddhi Finstock was amalgamated into Samruddhi Stock Brokers, strengthening the Group's market presence.

2015

Samco Securities

Under the leadership of Jimeet Modi, Samruddhi Stock Brokers underwent a transformative rebranding, emerging as Samco Securities Ltd., one of India's fastest-growing and most profitable discount stockbroking firms. A Chartered Accountant (ICAI Rank Holder) and CFA (USA), his vision was to democratise institutional-grade investment tools for retail India.

2019

SAMCO Asset Management Private Limited

SAMCO Asset Management Private Limited was incorporated, marking the Group's entry into the fund management business. The vision was to build India's first systematic, momentum-driven asset management company.

2021
SAMCO Mutual Fund
SAMCO Asset Management Pvt. Ltd. receives SEBI approval on 30th July 2021 to set up a mutual fund business in India. The building blocks were laid for a momentum-first Mutual Fund.

2022
First NFO Launched
SAMCO launches its first New Fund Offer in January 2022, bringing systematic, algorithm-driven momentum strategies to Indian investors for the first time.

2026
The Momentum House
A continuously growing family of 31,322+ distribution partners, 2,578+ Crores in AUM, 14 scheme funds, and a locked brand identity as The Momentum House. The system is the strategy.

Our entire investment process is algorithmic and model-driven wherein every buy, sell, and rebalance is generated by quantitative models. The system is the strategy.

Founder's Perspective

My personal mission was to bring the power of momentum investing to every Indian citizen. Most individual portfolios are excessively weighted towards size as a factor because the majority of indices and index-hugging active funds lean towards size. But momentum is different. It helps captures future winners early, irrespective of their current size. That is usually the beauty of momentum.

Think of it the way cricketers are picked - the ones who are in form. Momentum investing picks stocks and companies that are in form. It's not about calling heads or tails. It's about riding the meatiest part of a stock's wealth creation journey.

The idea was to build sophisticated systems that can algorithmically, quantitatively construct powerful momentum portfolios and then have the discipline to never override them. Our disciplined investment process helps keep long-term objectives ahead of short-term market emotions. That's what SAMCO is.

Mr. Jimeet Modi is a Rank Holder Chartered Accountant and Founder & CEO of the SAMCO Group. Under his leadership, SAMCO operates under a wide range of financial service businesses including equity and commodity broking, depository services, equity research, mutual fund research and distribution. He has a career spanning over 15 years with rich experience in equity research, investment analysis and technology.

Umeshkumar Mehta

Chief Investment Officer & Executive Director

Mr. Umeshkumar Mehta has over 26 yearsof experience in Indian Capital Markets. Hisrole involves overseeing investmentstrategies and managing assets acrossdiverse portfolios. He has profoundknowledge of financial markets, believes indata driven approach to investments anddraws lessons from financial marketshistories. He used to lead the Samco group’sResearch team.
