Redemption cheques/ demand draft sent to investors that remain unpaid beyond their validity period are categorized as unclaimed.
What is the process to claim unclaimed redemption or dividend?
Investor to submit to us a completed and signed Unclaimed Redemption/Dividend Form (available in the download section of our website).
Note
- Incase the payment needs to be made in the other bank account, you need to submit a cancelled copy of cheque/bank statement/passbook.
- The form needs to be signed by all unit holders irrespective of mode of holding.
What is the amount payable to an Investor?
The original amount payable to an investor, together with any interest earned thereon by deployment in permitted instruments until three years from the date of the instrument. Any interest earned after this date is transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund in accordance with the provisions of extant SEBI Regulations / Circulars & Guidelines. These provisions also specify the nature and manner of utilization of such amounts.
